There are many ways to get involved in the Mass through the various liturgical ministries.

Current Liturgical Ministry Schedule

Liturgical Ministers check with your Ministry leader for your times scheduled at Mass.  Be sure to check with your Ministry leader for any additional updates or changes.

Lectors

Lectors proclaim the Word of God during the celebration of the Eucharist. This call is not merely to read words on a page, but rather it is a practiced, thoughtful, cogent and prayerful oration vital to the celebration of the Mass.  Please use the following contact information:

  • Saint Agnes: Jeff Langan at 860-460-1808
  • Saint Matthias: Mike Gobeli

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion administer the Body and Blood of Christ as an essential part of the Eucharistic celebration. Since these ministers perform a sacred role during the celebration of the Mass, anyone interested in serving needs the Pastor’s approval to function as a EMHC. Please call Dorothy Hemingway at 860-444-2681.
