Women’s Club
Members of the Women’s Club promote the spiritual and social welfare of the Parish, raise funds for various parish projects and perform special works when requested by the Pastor and other church ministries. The members of the Women’s Club enjoy the warmth and satisfaction of socializing and working together in a joint expression of faith and good will.
The regular meeting of the St. Agnes Women’s Club is held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. from September through June. Please call President, Sally Vernaglia at 860-227-7680.
The regular meeting of the St. Matthias Women’s Club is held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. from September through June. Please call President, Chris Firman at 860-739-9303.
All women of the Parish, 18 years and older, are invited to become members.
Dinner Club
The St. Agnes/St. Matthias Dinner Club was begun 14 years ago as a fundraising project. Over the years, the Dinner Club has become a great social gathering for as many as 120 parishioners. For an annual membership of only $40, each month from October to May, three members are eligible to win $25. There’s no limit to how many months you can win. The year culminates in June with an annual luncheon at a local country club at no additional cost and the opportunity to win three grand prize drawings.
