Children and Youth

RE Child

Welcome to Religious Education for Children and Youth!

The purpose of the program is to assist parents in the religious education of their children. The home remains, as it always has been, the first and foremost source of the religious education of children. It is here that prayers are learned and that patterns and habits of church attendance are begun and cultivated. The home is the Church in miniature, a community of God’s people.

In our Religious Education program, the parish seeks to build on the foundation of faith, which you, as a parent, have already laid, and to offer a sense of community into which you had them baptized.

The goal of Religious Education is to deepen and nurture the faith of the Body of Christ. Our staff will support you in fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of faith, which binds us together in the one Body of Christ.

It is our privilege to accompany your family on your journey of faith.
